But just like every other tier, that number alone does not tell you whether a fabric is good—or whether it is right for you.
A higher Super number generally means finer wool fiber, which can create greater softness and refinement.
It can also mean greater delicacy.
That trade-off becomes increasingly important as you move higher through the fabric collection.
A very fine cloth can make an extraordinary wedding suit or special-occasion garment.
It may not be what I recommend for someone who plans to wear the same suit several times every week.
Luxury and durability are not always the same thing.

Tier AAAA does not unlock a better version of our tailoring.
Every garment still receives the same:

You should choose Tier AAAA because you love what the fabric brings to the garment—not because you believe you need to spend more to receive our best work.

Tier AAAA is the highest level of our regular fabric-tier system.
Beyond it is Market Tier.

It is where fabric pricing becomes too varied to fit neatly into a standard tier.
That collection may include rare fibers, pure cashmere, specialty luxury cloths, limited-production fabrics, and specific collections from some of the world’s best-known mills.
Tier AAAA gives you access to exceptional luxury fabrics within our regular pricing structure.
Market Tier opens the door to the broader specialty and luxury fabric market.
Our Approach
The purpose of Tier AAAA is not to give us a more expensive fabric to sell you.
It is to give us another set of creative tools.
For the right garment, the softness, drape, texture, and refinement can be worth every dollar.
For another garment, a more durable fabric from a lower tier may genuinely be the better choice.
