Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your suits made?

All our clothing is made in our own facility located in Santa Fe Springs CA.

Are the suits fully bespoke or are they made to measure?

Our custom suits are completely bespoke. Every suit is made from the fabric of your choosing, using a fresh pattern and cut specifically for each individual client.

Do I have to make an appointment? Are walk ins allowed?

A bespoke fitting is a fairly involved process. It requires one on one, undivided attention from your designer/cutter. Because of this all our services are available by appointment only. Walk ins and same day appointments are strictly not allowed.

How long does the appointment/fitting take?

For the initial meeting the average appointment is between 1-2 hrs.

Subsequent fittings take 15-30min.

How long does it take to get my finished custom suit?

Delivery times are dependent on many factors:

The main factor being what we have in the workshop at the moment that the order is placed and how complex of a cut/fit the garment will have.

Generally suits ordered during wedding season (March-July) take roughly 6-12 weeks for the first fitting.

Suits ordered between Aug-Feb will have a first fitting between 4-6 weeks.

The delivery times for the finished suit will depend on the adjustments needed after the first fitting.

How much does a custom suit cost?

All our prices are fabric dependent. You can find our price list here. All pricing is inclusive of all details and fittings.

Is there a rush service available?

We do not offer any rush services.

Do you do a baste fitting?

We created a proprietary way of measuring and fitting that allows us to skip the baste fitting stage without sacrificing any of the custom fit.  This allows us to speed up the process, keep the price of our service affordable while recreating the traditional feel of a well-made bespoke suit.

Are there fittings?

Yes. As many as needed to create the desired fit.  All fittings are included in the price.

Are your suits full canvas?

We offer a traditional British full canvas and a lighter weight Italian style full canvas. There are no extra costs for either option. See the quality of our bespoke suits

What if I lose/gain weight?

In general most suits can be altered for weight gain or loss in the +10/-10 lb range. Outside of this range, weight fluctuations can throw off the proportions of a suit and alterations are not recommended. The places that a suit can not be adjusted are the shoulders and the rise. Alterations due to weight gain or loss are not included in the purchase price and costs are dependent on the alterations needed.

How long do the suits last?

There are many factors the influence the longevity of a suit. In general the finer the fabric (high super numbers) the faster it can wear out. Also multiple weekly wearing’s (2x or more) and regular dry cleanings (monthly or more) can severely affect the longevity of any suit. With all that said, with proper care and rotation suits should last indefinitely.

What fabrics do you carry?

We offer fabrics ranging from Super 100’s- 200’s from Vitale Barberis Canonico, Drago, Reda, Style Biella, Loro Piana, Zegna, Scabal and more. Our fabrics are sourced from Italian, English, Swiss and American mills.

Can I bring my own Fabric?

We are very particular about the fabric we use. At this time we do not allow clients to bring their own fabric.

Do you do alterations to ready to wear suits?

We do not offer alteration services

Can you copy or recreate a designer/brand name suit?

We can use a designer suit as inspiration for the cut of your new custom suit but we do not duplicate the cut of a brand name suit.

Is there an extra charge for big and tall/plus size suits?

There is no extra charge for big and tall/plus size garments

What happens if I don’t like the way my suit looks?

We will alter, adjust and recut all suits as needed until it is satisfactory. In the rare instance that the desired cut or fit cannot be achieved, at our discretion, we will refund all deposits paid.
